Position: Systems/ Data Analyst Location: 100% Remote Client: CSG Government Solutions Interview Type: Video NOTE : Must have m inimum of 5 years of experience working on large-scale IT modernization projects for HHS programs, preferably Deloittes integrated eligibility system; alternatively, experience with other integrated eligibility systems or enterprise class/multi-tiered applications (e.g., Medicaid or similar large-volume transaction processing systems) to qualify for this role. Position Description: Responsibilities Map data from Integrated Eligibility System (IES) sources to IES data tables to improve future programming of IES system changes. Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards and monitor and record COVID-related systems changes. Document SQL requirements, and design, write, and optimize new or existing SQL based on client requests. Propose approaches for SQL based on analysis of data, database structure, and optimization needs. Test designed and approved SQL approaches, and conduct validation sessions. Maintain focus on client expectations by identifying, verifying, and communicating client requests and prioritizing work based upon client needs. Organize and facilitate meetings, communicate the objectives, agenda, and reference documents in advance of the meeting, and ensure meeting minutes are accurate and are delivered timely. Apply knowledge and experience of industry best practices and standards. Conduct ongoing activities and provide input into project deliverables. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager. Qualifications and Experience Proven, hands-on experience in Java development, including analyzing and maintaining code written by other developers. Minimum of 5 years of experience working on large-scale IT modernization projects for HHS programs, preferably Deloittes integrated eligibility system; alternatively, experience with other integrated eligibility systems or enterprise class/multi-tiered applications (e.g., Medicaid or similar large-volume transaction processing systems). Experience designing, writing, and optimizing SQL for complex systems. Experience with Db2 12 in Oracle mode and IBM Data Studio preferred. Knowledge of relational database design concepts, optimization techniques, referential integrity, data quality, and aggregate functions. Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence preferred. Knowledge of and experience with industry professional standards (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), etc.) Excellent oral and written communication skills to clearly communicate with and present detailed information to project leadership. Experience with the MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
