Role - Network engineer Location - NYC Type - Contract Hands-on administration of routers, switches, firewalls and access points Design, implement & administer Azure and AWS cloud networking Supports all BAU (triage tickets, work with Held Desk) and various infrastructure projects Firewall Administration (Palo Alto) Cloud and physical network security administration, including Cisco ISE Physical and virtual installation of infrastructure products & services, including routers, switches, servers, access points, load balancers, cabling Visit data centers and branch office tech closets & support/perform equipment upgrades onsite Maintain, configure, and upgrade network devices Assist in management and upgrades of security certificates, patches, etc. Perform monitoring and diagnostics of network and server issues Install, configure, and upgrade server and infrastructure software Document & update network diagrams and procedures (standards, build & configurations) Generate network reports on demand Participate in security reviews and audit request responses Plan and coordinate working & troubleshooting sessions with vendors and clients Attend change control meetings and create change tickets Update inventory in FreshService Support periodic (ongoing and annual) physical inventory Articulate technical solutions such as automation to optimize the environment and simplify processes Work with Information Security team on various security analysis and remediation Take on and own new tasks and initiatives What youll bring with You: At least 5 years of Experience building, testing and deploying jobs in a scheduling tool preferably Autosys, Control M, windows scheduler Minimum 8 years experience as a network engineer Working knowledge of Windows Server concepts such as Active Directory, Security groups, GPOs, SMB, file systems Working knowledge of cloud services such as Azure and AWS and be familiar with their respective terminologies Experience in defining and drafting policies, procedures and standards, as well as good understanding of security controls and KRI The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent analytical skills: detail-oriented; Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, synthesize complex information effectively, and communicate complicated issues clearly and simply to present clear and actionable choices and recommendations; Creative problem-solving skills Self-directed individual with security, technology, communication, and influencing skills Collaborative team-player who can find creative and practical solutions in a dynamic work environment Ability to handle ambiguity, juggle multiple matters at once, and quickly and seamlessly shift from one situation or task to another Thanks & Regards, Balaji S | IT Recruiter Phone: +1 7328456416 [email protected] -- -- Keywords: user interface user experience javascript information technology golang green card Kansas New Jersey Texas |
