We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior User Experience Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for user-centric design and have a solid understanding of UX principles. As a Junior User Experience Designer, you will work closely with our design and development and content teams to create exceptional user experiences across various digital platforms. You will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, while also considering SEO, ADA compliance, and best practices from a design perspective. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Collaborate with the design and development teams to understand project requirements and user needs. 2. Assist in conducting user research and gathering insights to inform design decisions. 3. Keyword research and recommendations for branded and non-branded keywords. 4. Writing SEO copy for landing pages; meta data descriptions and headline tags to increase web traffic. 5. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch, while incorporating SEO and ADA best practices. 6. Collaborate with developers, website merchandisers and marketing to ensure the seamless integration of design elements that meet SEO and ADA requirements. 7. Assist in developing and maintaining design systems and style guides that incorporate SEO and ADA best practices. 8. Implement designs using HTML and CSS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and adherence to SEO and ADA guidelines. 9. Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and be able to work independently. 10. Exhibit strong organizational skills and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 11. Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, maintaining clear and open communication. 12. Support the design team in creating visually appealing presentations and design deliverables. 13. Maintain a high level of attention to detail while meeting project deadlines and ensuring adherence to SEO and ADA best practices. 14. Monitor and analyze landing page performance using tools such as Adobe Analytics and make data-driven decisions for content optimization. Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 2. Solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch. 3. Some experience with HTML and CSS for implementing design concepts with SEO and ADA considerations. 4. Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) platforms and their SEO and ADA capabilities. 5. Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, including SEO and ADA compliance. 6. General understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and best practices. 7. Knowledge of ADA accessibility standards and guidelines for digital design. 8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 9.
