Role : Senior SDET Software Engineer (Hybrid Contract Position) Location : MUST be local/within driving distance to Chicago, IL. 12+ months Hybrid (2-3 days/week onsite & 3-2 days/week remote) at Chicago, IL There will be an ON-SITE in-person final Interview. Skills/Experience needed: 10+ years of total experience as Senior SDET Software Engineer in testing automation framework using JAVA & JavaScript, understanding of business requirements and develop test strategy & test plans to develop automation testcases using existing automation framework 8+ years of recent experience with test automation framework design, developing test scripts, test cases, and test data. Plan, design, develop, and maintain API test automation framework that facilitates automation scripting, execution, and analysis of results. 3+ years of recent experience in developing scenario based performance testing using JMeter 3+ years of recent experience with Cucumber, JBehave and BDD testing frameworks 3+ years of recent experience with testing Webservices (REST APIs) 3+ years of recent experience with Java Experience with writing SQL queries Experience testing full stack and integration testing with 3rd parties End-to-end system integration testing experience for software platforms Experience with DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Jenkins, Git) Hands on experience with Python Development experience in AWS Cloud technology Experience in TDD, continuous integration, code review practices Experience working on an Agile team with a solid understanding of Agile/Lean practices. Understanding of a micro service Architecture Experience load and performance testing Strong documentation skills Develop test automation code for Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), of systems, infrastructure, and test framework.
