Job Title : Tableau Lead Location : Remote Duration : 6-12 Months Job Description: What youll do: Lead a team of Tableau / MicroStrategy developer and analysts to design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy solutions that support our business intelligence and reporting needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Develop and maintain Tableau reports, dashboards. Optimize SQL queries and database design for optimal performance. Mentor and train team members on MicroStrategy and SQL best practices. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in MicroStrategy and SQL technologies. Must Haves: 8+ years of experience in Tableau / MicroStrategy development and administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization. Proficient in Tableau development tools. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. MicroStrategy expertise with previous experience creating event-based automated email report subscriptions distributed by MicroStrategy. This includes standard grid reports, highly formatted pixel-perfect documents, freeform SQL reports, and interactive, visually appealing Dossiers. Reports leveraging MicroStrategy governed metadata layer. Nice to have: Experience with multi-source reporting, data blending, and leveraging i-cubes. Need at least 1 person with prior MicroStrategy architect experience that understands setup/architecture of BI layer including parent/child relationships, Drill maps, Hierarchies, etc. Nice to haves: Tableau / MicroStrategy certification added Plus .
