TITLE: IT Vendor Management Associate

VISA: No H1B

LOCATION: New York City Metropolitan Area (HYBRID)

Contract to Hire Position

Local to New York Strongly Preferred

IT Vendor Management Associate Needed for a Contract to hire role - 6 months to start with potential to convert to employee. Hybrid to downtown NYC just a couple of times a month

Must have strong experience with stakeholder management.

Attend meetings, work with vendors.

Must have is strong Excel work with pivots create and build reports - and PowerPoint- prepare presentations

Handling the Requisition Process

Onboarding and offboarding of contractors

Vendor management or Procurement background is highly preferred.

ServiceNow exp is a plus

Vendor Management Associate

Responsibilities

Reporting to the IT Vendor Manager, The Vendor Management Associate will manage the administration of tracking, onboarding, and offboarding of all consultants for the IT department. This involves managing multiple requests, submitting Service Now tickets, and following up with hiring managers.

This position will work with internal teams throughout the IT department on various additional assignments. Work with new vendors and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing vendors

Obtain quotes or information from different vendors, as needed

Continuously improve relationships with domestic and international vendors for existing and new products

Drive continuous improvement in current processes, focused on lead time reduction, on-time delivery improvement, quality improvement, and cost reduction

Qualifications

Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships up, down, and across organizational lines

Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions

Strong communication skills: Listen, speak and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques

Strong organizational and time-management skills. Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities

Excellent attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools

College degree preferred or relevant work experience
