Job Description - Job Title: Database Administrator Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA) (only locals) Duration: 12 Months MOI: Skype Visa: No H1B/ CPT Job Description: Must Have: Bachelors degree in computer science or qualifying work experience. Experience with z/OS Db2 V10 or higher Experience with Db2 LUW and Linux 2+ years z/OS Db2 DBA including running utilities, performance monitoring, writing, and debugging complex DDL and SQL, managing Db2 Packages and security. Strong z/OS Db2 object management experience including but not limited to, Referential Integrity, Triggers, Aliases, Stored Procedures, and Universal PBG and PBR Experience with all Db2 utilities including Image Copy, Reorg, Recovery, Run stats, Unload/Load, etc. Can perform recovery to Image Copy or RBA Able to provide performance tuning by analyzing Database and O/S performance using Explain, articulate the benefits, and implement the solution. Can perform the design and distribution of all Db2 objects with good performance, proper security, and structure matching the needs of the data and its access. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in terms clients can understand. Results oriented with strong attention to detail.
