Job Description Job Title Junior Project Manager Job Location - Onsite (up to 3 days) & Remote, Miami, Florida Need locals only Job Description Skills & Experience: PMP-PMI certification 3-5 years of Project/Program management experience. In-depth knowledge of Data Center and Cloud Migration programs/projects (5+ years) Experience with multi cloud migrations to one or more of these platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI) Ability to collect technical inputs from subject matter experts and create project plans/solutions to drive aggressive timelines Proven track record of managing transformation programs (data center transformation and cloud migration projects) in a client facing role (5+ years) Proficient in Agile methodology with an ability to adapt quickly to changing technology requirements Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills for effective project financial management (3+ years) Strong verbal, written, organizational and project documentation skills (RAID logs) Deep knowledge of Microsoft Project Plan (3-5 years) Proven ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, collaboration, and organization skills to effectively project/program manage. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment balancing short-term and long-term needs. Effective Client & Stakeholder handling skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail. Experience with application migrations (SAP/Oracle) Preferred Education: Master's Degree MIGRATION WAVE PM DUTIES DISCOVERY RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand the process of Data Collection establish what needs to be captured and input as assets and configuration items from the input sources into Transition Manager repository. Understand what Data Normalization is (this is self-evident, but requires critical decisions) Coordinate with the customer about Application Environment (understand how we organize assets by non-prod and prod, Business Units, Stakeholder/director/leader, or other logical organization) Facilitate and own the checklist in SME Interviews (verbal validation with application SME, and get customers stake in the accuracy of the data) Understand the cycle of Consistency managing changing data and updating the repository. ANALYSIS and PLANNING of WAVES: Be responsible for Bundling Criteria analyze by migration guidelines and approaches as solutioned. (Decisions based on policy) Understand Dependency Groups and apply policies Generate Asset Bundling Assignment make first educated decisions for when the dependency bundles get sequenced (scheduled on logical Gantt) Understand the types of Migration Methods used in the program.
