This will be a hybrid work schedule, 3/days On-site, 2/days Remote. MAXIMO ADMINISTRATOR Our Houston client is looking for a Maximo Administrator for a 6+ month contract. JOB DUTIES: Provide Maximo on-site support and liaison with an off-site support team for supporting day-to-day activities and new development activities. Monitor Maximo application performance, resource usage, and system health. Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot issues for all Maximo instances. Provide Maximo System training and expert advice on product implementation, integration, enhancement, and other projects as applicable. Analyze business requirements and application objectives and develop functional and technical specifications. Plan and coordinate Maximo upgrades. Evaluate existing Maximo and other enterprise installations and provide recommendations for performance and efficiency improvement. Work with other team members to provide root cause analysis and to ensure quick resolution of application issues. Set up and maintain the Disaster Recovery site of Maximo System. Communicate status of projects, system issues, observations, and customer concerns to IMS Manager of Database Services. REQUIRED SKILL Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent, from an accredited university, in data processing discipline or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years Maximo administration experience including installation, patching, upgrade, maintenance, troubleshooting, deploying Maximo Packages, performance tuning, and data management of Maximo Asset Management System. Must include experience with versions 7.5 or higher. 5+ years of experience with Maximo using Oracle database 11g/12c. 5+ years of experience with Oracle WebLogic on Linux Operating System. 2+ years of experience with IBM Cognos installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. 5+ years of 24 x 7 operational support experience in a production environment. Knowledge of relational database management systems, Networking, Virtualization (VMWare), and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Good understanding of application development lifecycle. Good understanding of multi-tier applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
