Please share suitable profile Embedded Software Engineer 1 Location: Mossville, IL - Onsite Duration: 12 Months MOI: Skype Summary: The main function of an embedded software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the embedded software and systems that make computers work. A typical embedded software engineer researches, designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications. Job Responsibilities: Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for product lines. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. Technical Skills: (Required) Experience with HIL system testing and hardware setup / maintenance Experience with testing service tools and remote configuration of products (Desired) Experience with developing test automation with Python Basic knowledge of Machine and Engine ECUs and software update processes. Basic knowledge of Machine Datalink architecture, including SAE J1939 Education & Experience Required: Engineering Bachelors degree with at least 1-3years of experience OR Masters degree with at least 0-2 years of experience in an electronics controls field.
