Job Description - Lead Java Developer Location : Boston, MA Duration: 12 months to start, extensions possible Visa : GC & USC Investments experience is required. Tech lead Exp is must have. Client requires an IKM coding test as first interview step - please be sure any candidate you submit is willing to complete an online coding assessment for client in the area of: Java, SQL and AWS. Keys To Position Looking for a strong tech leader that can lead projects independently ability to take a project and deliver it. Experience developing in Java and candidate should have a strong understanding of multithreading. 50% of this role will be development and the other 50% will be focused on Architecture and leadership. The team size is around 7 people and they will not need to manage people. Strong experience with SQL is needed. Investment Services experience is a requirement. AWS is highly desired. Candidate will be working in an agile devops environment. Qualifications 10+ years of software development and design experience 7+ years demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications and services using Java and related technologies. Hands on experience in multi-threaded programming is required. Experience in relational and non-relational database technologies is required. Motivated, agile and able to work independently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Committed to deliver projects on time and overcome obstacles. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with working in AWS environment is preferred. Financial industry experience is preferred but not required.
