Job Tittle : Java Architect Location : Austin , TX (Onsite) Job Type : Contract Job Description : Key Responsibilities: Architect and design end-to-end Java-based solutions that align with the organization's technical and business objectives. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and define the architectural vision. Provide technical guidance and expertise to the development teams during the entire software development life cycle, from design to deployment and maintenance. Evaluate and select appropriate frameworks, tools, and technologies to ensure optimal performance, maintainability, and scalability of the software systems. Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles to maintain consistency and quality in the codebase. Conduct regular code reviews and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of architectural concepts. Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the system architecture and propose viable solutions to mitigate them. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the architecture and development processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and system designs. Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks. Assist in performance optimization and tuning of the Java applications to ensure optimal system efficiency and responsiveness. Requirements: Extensive knowledge of Java SE, Java EE, and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, etc.). Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns, such as MVC, Microservices, SOA, and RESTful APIs. Experience in designing and developing highly scalable, secure, and reliable Java-based systems. Proficiency in using various development tools and IDEs, as well as build and continuous integration tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide and inspire development teams. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
