Need to align with enterprise data management team. Will be guiding design and implementations. Need to guide industry best practices when it comes to new tech and methods in regards to data lake and data distribution tools. Designing data lake or data lake houses will help candidate stand out. Need great enterprise experience - Financial services background is ideal. Need to be able to pivot quickly and provide knowledge through experience for ongoing projects as well as Adhoc work. Need very deep technical skills. Even more important, they need top notch communication as they will be working with high level stakeholders daily (need to be extremely well spoken and very confident in what they're speaking about).
