| Role : Senior Java Developer (Hybrid Contract Position) Location : Peoria, IL 12+ months Hybrid (3 days/week onsite & 2 days/week remote) at Peoria, IL MUST be local/within driving distance to Peoria , IL USC/GC/GC-EAD ONLY Skills/Experience needed: MUST have 8+ years of exp in designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software applications in Java. Application architectural patterns, such as MVC, Microservices , Event-driven, etc. o Deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Devops etc. o Deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS or Azure. o Working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum). Test driven development and behavior driven development. MUST demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms. MUST have 3+ years of exp developing in AWS: cloud formation templates, deploying ECS clusters, Lambda, Fargate, Amazon Elastic Search, S3, understanding of IAM roles and policies. Experience building and developing with Cloud Technologies (such as AWS, Azure, GCP Developing software applications using relational and NoSQL databases. Experience in Batch or stream processing systems such as AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Kinesis. Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger, Postman and Assertible Experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber and their integration into CI/CD pipelines. Datastores such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Oracle.
