Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect ITILv3 certified Network Certifications Additional related education and/or experience preferred Essential Functions Develop and present technical solutions and configurations for infrastructure as a service with our clients including cloud instances, storage, networking, OS, database and managed services Engage directly with IT and/or C-level executives to understand their key challenges and demonstrate and price solutions that fit their needs Lead cross discipline teams towards a common vision while operating effectively in a high speed environment Support automation team in resolving technical clarifications and troubleshooting technical issues Assist in driving platform and Big Data efficiency Guide the solution and application architects in the creation of architectural decisions and artifacts Identify cross-product patterns and create reference architectures Participate in architecting the evolution of infrastructure, frameworks and capabilities of the enterprise data and application platform technologies Define, measure and disseminate EA metrics and KPI Work closely with solution architecture to evaluate technologies and vendors Ensure the systems, platform, and DevOps teams have the proper tools and training for success Collaborate with business and technology groups to identify the components and flow of the organization Model the segment architectures to discover patterns, bottlenecks and opportunities for increasing efficiency and reducing waste Support the company's commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data. Minimum Qualifications Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelors in Information Systems, Engineering or related field Ten years of experience in a technology role, including three years as a technical SME. Technical expert with multiple years of experience leading architecture definition, detail designs, testing, and development in multiple languages (certification or extensive documented experience) Hands-on subject matter expert for DevOps and Automation in a hybrid AWS and physical infrastructure environment Professional interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills Architecture and Technology Considerations: High-performance, distributed, massively scalable and highly available architectures noSQL & "Big Data" solutions like Cassandra, Hadoop, Hive, SOA/ESB (JBoss) Other JVM-based languages e.g. Groovy, Scala, Clojure VM & Container Platform experience Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect ITILv3 certified Network Certifications Keywords: cprogramm information technology New York |
