Position: System Specialist/Software Developer II Location: Houston, Texas - Onsite Local Only Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract 10+ years experience only. No OPT/CPT/H1-T/GC-EAD Passport Number Must for H1/H4-EAD/L2-EAD Job Description Vendors: Below are some questions that the manager has asked that could help your search. How much is its Full Stack versus Full Stack with a slant towards UI, style sheets, markup o This is a true full stack position we would like 50% back-end (Java, Python a plus) and 50% front-end (React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML). Angular would be okay but React is preferred. We have had candidates that are strong in back-end, but not very strong in front-end. This position will be doing more back-end at first, but we would like them to help with the front-end eventually. Do candidates need to bring a portfolio on the UI o No If not, is it more-full stack dev with plenty of CSS, markup works fine with lesser slant toward heavy UI o We would like them to be able to do html and CSS, but we dont expect them to be strong on the design / creative side. What is depth of Java RESTful services skills needed o Medium to high. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the best, about a 7. APIs needed o Experience in creating and using APIs would be good Stakeholder interaction Business or tech stakeholders o It would be a plus if they had this skill, but not necessary. What are the functions of the Stakeholders (technical or business) stakeholders o The stakeholders will provide requirements for enhancements and bugs. As they are here longer, they will be consuming APIs as well.
