IMPORTANT!!! The hiring manager needs candidates that previously worked at a university or College and covers ALL the Must HAVEs . Must Haves (make sure these are on the resume, in the company descriptions, not just at the top in the summary) Must come from working at any University or working at any College in the U.S . (one of the last 3 recent jobs on the resume has to be a University/College in the United States ( example of college or university : Candidate previously worked at University of California or University of New York or Harvard or University of Texas or Michigan State University etc ) or worked at any College in the United States as a Technical Project Manager) Experience with large, complex IT network implementations ( Large network implementations & IT security would be a bonus ) PMP Certification , Scrum Master Certification, and/or ITIL Certification Experience as a project manager in a PMO JOB DESCRIPTION We have a need for (1) Technical Project Manager for a large-scale IT Network migration project s . Long term Minimum Qualifications: At least 5 years experience as PRIMARY, LEAD, OR SOLO project manager on large, complex, enterprise-level IT projects through full life cycle and at least 3 years experience managing multiple projects concurrently that included: Developing requirements and specifications Developing and managing project schedules Identifying, tracking, and reporting project risk Managing project communications, including status reporting and stakeholder communications Managing vendor engagement, including communication regarding priorities and expectations Experience as a project manager in a PMO Experience with customizing industry standard PM processes to a variety of project sizes, complexities and criticalities. Experience with agile/scrum methodology Strong team leadership skills/experience Superior communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and stakeholders with tact and diplomacy. Extensive experience in managing information technology projects for which an application development methodology was enforced. Experience with IT security intensive projects Preferred qualifications: (these will get you hired!) Experience in higher education and Student Information Systems/Banner Bachelor's degree in science or technical discipline, with an emphasis in technology management or information management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
