Over qualified or under qualified people will not get selected. We are looking for a motivated and experienced scrum master to help support the lifecycle of the Global Finance Technology Organization applications and help us deliver critical solutions that add new value for our customers. Your responsibilities will include assisting the team as a servant leader to clear obstacles, establishing an environment where the team can be effective and highly performant. You will manage timelines, resolve problems, and coach the team on agile methodologies in the spirit of maximizing productivity during sprints. You will work with the Product Owner and the scrum team in planning and coordinating the deployment into production for large epics/initiatives that span a diverse set of products and shared services teams. You will leverage problem solving skills and creatively to drive continuous process improvement within the team and be a cornerstone to the team-s success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Primarily responsible for ensuring that the Agile/Scrum team achieves its goals. -Supports and enforces the rules of the scrum process and other rules that the team has agreed upon. e.g. WIP limits -Communicates status to customers, team and management as needed. -Exhibits the behaviors of a Lean-Agile leader with a Lean-Agile mindset. Helps the team embrace core Agile values and principles (SAFe or Scrum or Kanban.) -Leads scrum teams for medium to complex deliveries. -Leads the team-s efforts in relentless improvement and facilitates the team-s retrospective. -Facilitates all the team-s meetings and ceremonies within a SAFe framework. -Removes roadblocks, many of which will be beyond the team-s authority or will require support from other teams. -Coordinates with other teams and manages cross-scrum team and cross- program/ART dependencies - for example participates in Scrum of Scrum Meetings (for ARTs) and/or other PI Planning sessions and passes information back to the team. -Coordinates with the System Team, UX, DevOps, Shared Services, security etc. -Ensures that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Agile/Scrum Team. -Ensures the Team understands scrum theory, practices, rules and values. -Improves team performance by identifying, managing, and supporting resolution of team impediments. -Conducts performance appraisals of staff and provides career guidance through regular coaching and mentoring. -Displays an engineering mindset and systems thinking while understanding the economic view. -Embraces a continuous improvement mind-set and highlights opportunities to improve efficiency of scrum teams. -Manages work according to Client Solution Delivery Process, complies with SOX requirements, and internal process/delivery controls. WHAT YOU-LL NEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) -Bachelor-s Degree or equivalent engineering skillset, training, or functional work experience -5-10 years professional experience serving as a Scrum Master with dedicate agile teams using scrum & SAFe methodology -Proven success working a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of measurable business impact -Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and mentor skills -Hands on experience participating in and leading SAFe events, such as sprint planning, release planning, and PI planning -Strong working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Certified CSM SAFe preferred Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Aha, VSTS, or similar Experience with Financial systems or Financial controls _______ Tim Keywords: user experience |
