From: shaik, Convextech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: IT - Database Administrator (Senior Neo4J DBA) Estimated duration: ASAP - starting with a 6-month assignment CTH Location/Remote/Workspace: Remote US Schedule Days: M-F Hours per week: 40 Flexible hours: 1st or 2nd Shift (Core hours: 9-4PM EST w/overnight work) Top Must-Have Skills / Candidate Requirements: Significant Experience with Neo4j and Cypher query language. 5-7+ years experience in design and implementation of complex distributed systems architectures Expertise in graph driven data science applications, such as graph based feature engineering, graph embedding, or graph neural networks Experience building Enterprise Level Standards and Gold Images for provisioning Experience with Encryption Solutions for Neo4J Experience with Backup & Recovery Methodologies used for Neo4J Experience with Neo4J HA Architecture for Critical Applications (Clustering, Multiple Data Centers, etc.) Experience with LDAP Based Authentication & Authorization for Neo4J Experience in high availability and disaster recovery solutions Current hands-on experience with at least two coding and scripting languages e.g. Python, Java, Scala, Shell Scripting Analytical skills necessary to perform troubleshooting of errors and performance issues Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills Results-oriented and able to work across the organization as an individual contributor Ability to work in a rapidly transforming organization Excellent customer service skills Technically proficient in assigned IT discipline(s) Nice to Have: Experience with Non-Relational technologies such as MongoDB, Redis is a Plus. Degrees/Certifications/Years of Overall Experience Required: 5-7+ years experience in design and implementation of complex distributed systems architectures Neo4j experience is most importance Experience is more important than degrees Day to Day Responsibilities: Typical work-related activities include: Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune and maintain Ability to Support Production in an on-call environment, as well as non-production systems Ability to review and implement changes in accordance with PNC Policy and Industry Best Practice Troubleshoot critical performance bottlenecks for Neo4J databases Review and assess the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation Collaborate with other IT teams and Vendors to resolve complex and multi-disciplinary issues Work independently and represent database group in various projects Ensure that databases are monitored, maintained, backed up, and available as appropriate. Manage database security with an adherence to PNCs security policy Review stress testing results and provide recommendations to development teams Automate management tasks, streamline processes, and perform standard administrative functions Mentor, assist, encourage, and serve as a backup to other team members cross-platform Keywords: information technology |
