Job Description - Backfill position ServiceNow Engineer Client: General Dynamics IT Location: Bethesda, Maryland (Hybrid 1 day onsite per week) on C2C Work Authorization: USC, GC, GC-EAD only Duration: Over 2 years MOI: Skype Need only 5 page resume Required Skills: They are looking for a mid-level developer They will need to be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance ITSM, SPM, CMDB and ITOM experience (but looking for a developer for the full spectrum) ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist or ServiceNow Application Developer Certifications Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant IT experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience GDIT is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join their program in support of the National Institute of Health (NIH), Computer Information Technology, support program 3+ year hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and administering one or more ServiceNow instances with user bases of 5000 Proficiency with technical ServiceNow components such as: business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, reports, etc. Proficiency with SQL Query, HTML, XML, Java Script, Jelly, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular JS Experience working with customers to understand requirements and implementing information technology solutions / initiatives / service automation Experience working with JavaScript and Jelly to configure the aforementioned ServiceNow components Experience with NIH and/or Service Portal Experience with web/mobile development ITIL Foundations certification is a plus Act as a liaison between parties when necessary to get support from ServiceNow (the company) when local issues arise or when technical difficulties are identified. Performs management and configuration of ServiceNow applications and modules, product development, service automation, and system integrations. Configures and Develops on the NIHs instance of ServiceNow including routine changes or configuration adjustments as directed by the customer. You will also regularly engage with ServiceNow administrators and developers at other NIH organizations to ensure proper and continual handoff between systems, or to support global challenges that require coordination. Development of NIHs ServiceNow instance, including all sub-modules, is a major part of this role, and subsequent maintenance and adjustments to the product are expected. Regards!!
