Requirements : Design moderately complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects. Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) solutions. Work closely with application development project teams to ensure optimal application performance. Optimize database performance through a number of techniques including but not limited to: indexing, query optimization, database design. Participate in periodic High Availability / Disaster Recovery tests of critical systems. Proactively monitor database performance, capacity planning and resource consumption. Provide day to day support for databases and database applications. Upgrade and patch DBMSs. Ensure databases and database objects are backed up according to business requirements, and recovery procedures are tested and documented. Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field. Must have great communication skills as well as ability to collaborate across teams 5 plus years of experience in Database Management / Data Integration. A solid foundation and DBA fundamentals is a must Proficient in one or more Database Management Systems (e.g. DB2i, DB2 LUW, DataStax, Oracle, SQL Server). Experience with data modeling, monitoring, identifying performance issues and challenges that are present that are not maximizing performance Able to be on call in a rotation (currently 2 week rotations but with more people on the team, it will move to 3 week rotations) Familiar with one or more replication technologies (e.g. DTShare, CDC, SQL Replication, Attunity) Experience with Linux operating systems is a plus Scripting is a big plus as it will help with automation Experience with Attunity is a big plus (how it works, etc.) Ability to read a Logical Data Model a plus Best Regards , Sanjoo Singh Techincal Recruiter Contact :- 248-707-1996 Email : [email protected] Fax : 248-856-9456 100, E.
