Do share me your updated resume on [email protected] Position: Jira Asset Manager Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12+ Contract Visa : NO H1B About the job Jira Asset Manager The Jira Asset Manager will be responsible for deploying and configuring the Atlassian Jira Service Management Asset Manager module to optimize ITAM practices. Responsibilities of the Jira Asset Manager: Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Atlassian Jira Service Management Asset Manager module for our ITAM and CMDB requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Compliance, to identify asset management needs and design effective solutions Conduct thorough assessments of existing ITAM processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and align them with industry best practices Customize and configure the Jira Service Management Asset Manager module to meet specific business requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing tools and systems Design and develop object databases to store and manage IT asset information efficiently and securely Create documentation, guidelines, and training materials for end-users and provide training sessions to internal teams to ensure effective adoption of the new system Act as a subject matter expert on ITAM and CMDB best practices, advising stakeholders on strategies for asset management optimization and risk reduction Conduct regular audits and assessments of the CMDB to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for enhancements or optimizations to drive continuous improvement Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in ITAM, CMDB, and Jira service management software to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technology and innovation Requirements for the Jira Asset Manager: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 5 or more years of hands-on experience in implementing Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, particularly in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) domain Experience specifically working with Atlassian Jira Service Management software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design efficient and scalable solutions for complex ITAM challenges Proven track record of successful end-to-end implementation of ITAM and CMDB solutions, with tangible results in optimizing asset management processes Nice to have: Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards related to ITAM and CMDB, such as ITIL, ISO 20000, or COBIT Certifications in ITAM, ITIL, or Jira administration Best Regards Satya Kori Technical Recruiter DMS Visions Inc.
