Title: ERP Business Systems Analyst Location: Montclair, NJ, onsite Visa: USC/GC MOI: skype Duration: 6+ monthsJob Description Business Systems Analyst Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our IT ERP team. As the Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our corporate finance and procurement processes within the companys core ERP system and its edge applications. The Business Systems Analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders and a high-velocity ERP team to address critical business pain points and support ongoing operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of quickly understanding business processes, organizing projects and tasks and communicating at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities Define systems specifications and requirements to align with R&D business needs, ensuring seamless integration with the companys ERP, related applications and impacted R&D stakeholders. Implement and support technology solutions, leveraging existing and future ERP capabilities to streamline R&D processes and enhance efficiency. Serve as an R&D subject matter expert on ERP & edge application features, functionality, and modules, continuously expanding knowledge to provide optimal solutions for users and the organization. Collaborate closely with R&D stakeholders to document and prioritize formal requirements for technology solutions. Liaise with internal IT teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of integrated technology solutions tailored to R&D needs. Identify organizational functionality gaps and business needs within the R&D domain, researching, analyzing, and testing potential IT solutions to determine the best fit. Lead small to mid-size ERP projects focused on R&D, assuming responsibility for the project team, monitoring progress, setting deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery. Meet the needs of key stakeholders by effectively managing project timelines, resources, and priorities. Resolve ERP application issues related to backend configuration and MS SQL tools, collaborating with third-party vendors/contractors as necessary. Monitor the IT ticketing system for ERP and R&D support-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations. Provide ongoing training for existing and new users of enterprise systems, including ERP and R&D systems. Develop training materials in various media formats, such as documents and videos, and maintain them on the central ERP user knowledge center. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business; or 5+ years of relevant experience. Deep understanding of key R&D business concepts, processes, and terminology within the CPG industry. Advanced knowledge and experience working in Microsoft D365 Business Central. 5+ years of experience with supporting or configuring ERP systems to enhance functionality. Advanced knowledge and experience working in business R&D systems including Esko, Specright, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work on multiple tasks and to self-manage deliverables, meetings, and information gathering.
