| Role - Automation Engineer (Devops) Location Sanjose, CA (Onsite) Contract role Required Business and Technical Skills Skill sets Ansible, Python, VMWare vCenter and ESXi, RHEL, Containers, On-premises datacenter, Jenkins At least 6 years of overall IT Experience with emphasis on IT Automation Minimum 2 years of experience in Ansible based automation practice preferably in a distributed data centre environment 2+ years of experience with writing scripts in various languages (Python, Ansible) 4+ years of experience in Linux OS platforms Strong experience in architecting and implementing an automation environment using Ansible, Ansible Tower Good knowledge on supporting infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and release management Good understanding of infrastructure-related components and protocols: Data centre, AD, DNS, TCP\\IP, Load balancing, PKI, Firewalls, and routing Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Nagios, New Relic, ELK, and Sysmon Excellent communication skills to lead technical discussions A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities Desirable skillset: Ansible certification is a plus.
