Interview Times / Process: long process be aware Duration: 1 year with possible 1 year extension Vaccination / Background check / Drug test: yes, on all + Must have valid passport for possible travel to British Columbia Project Details / Open Reason: Health system has been implementing Cerner at all facilities over the last 5 years or so. This role will be part of the Clinical Transformation Team and report to the Interface/Integration Project Manager. The Clinical & Systems Transformation (CST) project is designed to improve the quality, safety and consistency of patient care across three British Columbia health organizations: Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) and Providence Health Care (PHC). The project's clinical goals are to improve safety, reduce unnecessary work, increase consistency, provide more accurate information, and improve information system reliability and sustainability. This transformation will be supported by a shared clinical information system that will replace multiple aging existing systems. Day to Day Responsibilities: The lead integration analyst may perform the following activities during the course of the contract: Determine approach for integration of Clinical/Business Systems, including estimations of effort Manage the delivery of interfaces for project Assigns tasks across integration team analysts and developers Maintains inventory of tasks, tracks progress, and communicates issues and risks to team manager. Plans for release management to align with CST schedule. Coordinates with sustainment team for dependent issues and sustainment resources for go-live support Analysis and review of system specification and business requirements for Clinical/ Business integration, then create and maintain technical specifications for the duration of the projects, specifically CST Support process improvement for delivery of Integrations Ability to work with business and technical resources Understanding of complex clinical and business environments Required Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent Proven experience and thorough understanding of HL7 specifications Experience with developing message oriented solutions Knowledgeable of current practices and technologies Proven ability to communicate effectively with a broad set of stakeholders including clinical / business staff, technologists, management and executives Experience working in large, complex IT environments E-Mail Is The Best Way To Reach Me .
