JOB DESCRIPTION: Seeking experienced developer/analyst to work within a team consisting of contracted and team members. The ideal candidate will have strong, well-developed analysis skills; can build good relationships, and take a big-picture view of requested functionality, including potential impact on areas outside of the immediate team. The candidate will primarily be working in the Merchandising Pricing and Promotions space. The ideal candidate for this role has 10+ years of relevant work experience. Software analysts are responsible for all aspects of software development projects. They work with customers to develop an understanding of their needs and the specifications the project will require. After careful planning and research, they work with other software developers to produce code and a system to meet those specifications. They help test the software to ensure it meets its customers needs fully. Once the completed project is delivered, software analysts work with the customer to install and learn to effectively use the program. If any issues arise, they are responsible for rewriting code and providing updates to the users. They also work with customers to maintain existing software as needed throughout its lifetime.
