| Role: ServiceNow Developer with Kafka Experience Location: Remote Experience: 9+ years Client: IOPEX technologies / T-Mobile Visa: Any visa is fine Duration: Long-term contract Job Description: We seek a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Kafka to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that enhance our organization's operational efficiency and service delivery. Your additional experience with Kafka will enable you to integrate ServiceNow with real-time data streams, enhancing our capabilities to provide timely and data-driven solutions. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective ServiceNow solutions. Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and scripts to meet business needs. Create and maintain documentation for design, development, and deployment processes. Utilize your expertise in Kafka to design, develop, and manage data streaming solutions. Integrate ServiceNow with Kafka to enable real-time data processing and communication. Implement data transformation and mapping processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems. Develop custom applications, plugins, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform. Extend ServiceNow's capabilities through scripting, REST APIs, and third-party integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow and Kafka integrations. Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to ensure solutions align with business goals. Communicate effectively with team members and provide regular updates on project status and milestones. Collaborate with DevOps and Operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of solutions. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in ServiceNow and Kafka technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions. Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and security guideline s. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, including proficiency in creating custom applications, workflows, and scripting. Demonstrated experience working with Kafka for real-time data streaming and integration. Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST APIs, and other relevant ServiceNow development technologies. Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Kafka certification and ServiceNow certification(s) are a plus.
