Title : AWS Connect Engineer Location : 100% Remote Duration : 6 months Visa : USC/GC Holder Job Description We are seeking a proficient Cloud Solutions Engineer to reinforce our team and contribute to our cloud contact center infrastructure. In this capacity, you will be tasked with the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS Connect solutions, ensuring our organization's customer support operations thrive with optimal performance and dependability. Skills & Responsibilities: Robust Cloud Architecture: Formulate, draft, and deploy cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS Connect, EKS, EC2, ALBs, IAM Policies, Lambda & KMS, establishing secure, dependable, scalable, and highly available business solutions. This includes call routing, IVR systems, live chat, and CRM integrations. Deployment and Automation: Construct CI/CD frameworks for the automated build & deployment of enterprise applications, employing tools like BuildKite, Terraform, and GIT. Monitoring & Incident Handling: Execute everyday operational tasks, setting up alerting, monitoring, and troubleshooting mechanisms to swiftly address Production incidents using tools like Datadog and AWS CloudWatch. Manage cloud infrastructure and services, guaranteeing high performance, resilience, and uptime. Documentation and Training: Produce and uphold technical documentation and offer training to team members on infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies. Security Implementation: Conduct regular audits and assessments of the AWS Connect environment to uphold security and regulatory compliance. Institute and enforce security best practices, access controls, and compliance mandates for a secure cloud environment. Cost Efficiency: Streamline AWS infrastructure expenses by recognizing inefficiencies, proposing cost-saving strategies, and effecting their implementation. Performance Enhancement: Evaluate AWS service and application performance, detecting bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to heighten system performance and maximize CPU and Memory utilization. Team Integration: Collaborate with multifunctional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, IT operations, Privacy, and Security, to amass requirements, offer technical insights, and introduce solutions aligned with business goals and our non-functional prerequisites. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years' experience in an AWS solutions architect, AWS Connect engineer, or comparable role, with a specific emphasis on cloud contact center solutions. Profound grasp of AWS Connect architecture, functionalities, and integration potentials. Proven track record in devising and implementing intricate call routing strategies, IVR systems, and CRM integrations using AWS Connect. Proficiency in AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, and IAM. Hands-on involvement with containerized deployments and Kubernetes. Familiarity with programming languages such as GoLang for the development of AWS Connect APIs and integrations. Sound comprehension of networking concepts, security protocols, and techniques for enhancing performance in cloud-based contact center environments. Strong aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting, capable of analyzing and resolving intricate technical issues promptly. Effective communication and collaboration skills, adept at working harmoniously with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. AWS certifications, e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, are advantageous.
