Role: Sr. Java developer Location: Minneapolis - MN (Onsite) Contract with Cognizant Passport No and Linkedin are Must Need only H1B Candidates Job Description: Required Qualifications: -Hands on development with Java [version 11 and above, experience with 8 at least is good, 11+ is nice to have] -Spring Boot framework for application development [APIs] -Conversation design [nice to have, if not available, we are willing to train] -Popular frameworks such as Webflux, Mockito, etc. is a plus -Knowledge on Jira / Jenkins / Kubernetes is nice to have. Roles/Responsibilities : Develop application code meeting all quality and standards as expected by U.S. Bank Technology team and Product team Definiton of Done. Develop Unit test cases / Integration test cases for any new feature developed or a defect addressed Understand product design/requirements and transform them appropriately into code artifacts Code review peer work items for quality track and notify of an issues to rest of the team Deploy completed work items till User Acceptance and Testing environments Author Jira stories/Defects as needed Develop assigned Jira stories into code artifacts to process business requirements into implementation Develop Unit Test cases and Integration test cases to ensure quality code for application Understand and receive instructions form Development leads towards Project requirements Work closely with Quality engineers and address any product defects Participate as applicable to support Production deployments Participate in Scrum ceremonies as needed and required by the team.
