Required: Scope of Work: This BI Developer Senior is responsible for production support and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development work for our Health Department (HD). This includes work to implement small, medium, and large scale BI projects. We are looking for an experienced ETL developer that has worked with more than one ETL tool (like ADF, SSIS, etc) and not just a Microsoft stack generalist that knows SQL Server and SSIS. This person performs an active, leading role in shaping and enhancing the ETL architecture by developing and maintaining a TSQL, SSIS, and/or ADF based ETL data integration solution Required Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent practical and relevant experience. Seven (7) years of IT Development experience. This position must pass a criminal history records check. The skills: * Advanced experience working on ETLs (on prem and in the cloud) * Advanced experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Server * Advanced experience with T-SQL * Advanced experience in data warehousing design, BI concepts and best practices * Advanced experience in job scheduling tool / scheduling tasks and processes * Advanced experience in scripting languages (Javascript, PowerShell, Command scripting) * Advanced experience in programming languages such as C# and Python * Advanced experience in SQL programming including stored procedures, query plans, functions, views, indexes and triggers * Advanced experience building ETLs for loading data for reporting * Advanced experience in database modeling, data conversion and ETL tools such as SSIS The work: Develop complex ETL routines to load a dimensional star schema (and supporting layers) inclusive of data quality, error handling, and logging processes Determine strategies for data integrity validation processes Resolve difficult design and development issues Remain current on new ETL techniques and methodologies and communicate trends. Assess requirements for completeness and accuracy and determine if requirements are actionable for the ETL team Conduct impact assessment and determine the size of effort based on requirements Identify necessary changes to current business and data integration processes Communicate risks and ensure understanding of these risks Experience that provides a plus: * ETL experience for the Health industry * Tableau experience * SSRS experience * Power BI experience Additional Info - Must have Need 7+ years experience Need Healthcare experience Need SSIS and ADF (Azure Data Factory) experience Need TSQL and resume not more than 4 pages.
