| Job Description : Title : Senior Network Engineer - Onsite ( Preferably DMV area) Duration : 2 Years Location: Largo, MD Green Card / USC or H4 EAD Only Job Description : A highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer in Infrastructure Division. The onboarded Consultant work responsibilities include, however not limited to: Design,configure, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including Cisco routers,switches, wireless access points, and other networking devices. Install and deploy network equipment, ensuring optimal performances and security. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, conducting root cause analysis when necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meetbusiness requirements. Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists. Monitor net work performance and make recommendations for improvements. Current,up-to-date latest networking technologies and best practices. This position has a pivotal role in ensuring availability of our critical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Umbrella. Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and NetBrain. Strong background in network security principles and best practices. Experience with Palo Alto firewalls. CCNP certification (preferred). Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
