Job Title: Murex BA Location: Piscataway NJ Experience: 8 to 12 Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Murex Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within our Murex environment. The Murex BA will collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and other business units to ensure the efficient implementation and enhancement of Murex trading and risk management solutions. Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, focusing on Murex trading, risk management, and related functionalities. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for development teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and effective solution design and implementation. Conduct workshops and meetings with business users to understand their needs and provide expertise on Murex capabilities. Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure the quality of deliverables. Provide support in the configuration and setup of Murex modules as needed. Identify and resolve issues, providing timely solutions and recommendations. Assist in training end-users on Murex functionality and features. Stay up-to-date with Murex upgrades and new releases, assessing their impact on the existing environment. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to project timelines. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field. 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a Murex environment. Strong understanding of Murex modules, particularly in trading and risk management. Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications. Experience in system testing, UAT, and defect management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with financial instruments, derivatives, and trading workflows. Certifications related to Murex (e.g., Murex MX.3 Certification) are a plus. Knowledge of financial regulations and market practices within the industry.
