Look for senior candidates!!! 10+ Notes from Manager - Looking across the five-state area, remote but will have drop ins every now again Someone who can drop into new contacts, take current state, and move them to future state by making recommendations. This is built out from their clinicians and labs. Synthesize them into a strategy. Do some light financial analysis (have partners that do the majority of that work). Act as the liaison between business and app teams. Work with patients and member patients, don't have to have the members experience (clinical reminders) Heavy automation, we know you need a particular screening, be able to automate that for individual members, push that reminder out for them at home testing, and run it out. Lots of at home test kits that get pushed out Value someone who can ask why seven times. Someone wants a patient to do X, ask why we want to get that out to them vs. other solutions and build out the process from there. The Senior Product Service Business Analyst is responsible for helping to define business problems and facilitate solutions for digital products and services. The Senior Product & Service Design Business Analyst works on the HealthPartners Care Group Digital Product team which delivers innovative solutions to our consumers of the largest consumer-governed, nonprofit health care organization in the nation, providing care, coverage, research, and education to improve the health of members, patients, and the community. The Care Group Digital Product team works on projects to innovate, improve, and create new digital solutions for our healthcare consumers of our HealthPartners Care Group, which includes 90+ clinics and hospitals across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, serving over 1.2 million patients. The Senior Product Service Design Business Analyst's key responsibilities include eliciting, documenting, understanding, and prioritizing business needs, consumer pain-points, and solution ideas to enhance our digital products in service of our consumers. These digital products include online appointment scheduling, digital communication between patients and care teams (e.g., text, email, photos, other), our consumer online portal (MyChart), our care group website, and other digital tools and services to receive diagnoses and treatment (e.g., phone visits, photo upload, Virtu well). To accomplish this, the Senior Product Service Design Business Analyst will: Work closely with our business partners to elicit and understand business problems and consumer pain-points. Function as a liaison between the business, Epic/ Care Systems, and Web & Mobile team members when exploring business problems and solutions. Partner with the business, Epic/ Care Systems, and Web & Mobile team members to help design solutions for our consumers that meet business needs while creating amazing consumer experiences. Partner closely with our and technical partners throughout the organization, especially within Web & Mobile and Care Systems, to elicit business requirements and ensure stakeholder satisfaction through project completion. Create artifacts to capture these requirements: e.g., vision/scope documents, functional specification, use cases, concept mock-ups, wireframes, and process diagram flowcharts. Help drive brand awareness, customer loyalty, and new customer growth by ensuring an excellent consumer experience when users schedule appointments online, communicate with care teams, interact with their online portal (MyChart), and use digital tools and services to receive diagnoses and treatment. Improve existing and establish new standards for success metrics for these digital tools and services. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, design, healthcare, or another related field Five or more years of Business Analysis or leadership experience Experience eliciting and evaluating business needs and requirements from stakeholders. Experience in critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciliation of conflicts and decomposition of high-level information into details. Experience facilitating documentation review sessions. Experience writing and maintaining requirements plans for medium/large projects. Experience with change management practices Three years of experience working on digital or consumer-design projects Experience with creating/maintaining artifacts including vision documentation, functional specifications, use cases, business requirements/rules, business process diagrams. Experience in training or mentoring team members or other Business Analysts Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities with different business partners. Demonstrated knowledge of consumer design and software development lifecycle processes, strong consultative skills, capable problem solver, ability to build consensus, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users, developers, managers, and subject matter experts. Proficiency utilizing MS Word, Excel, and Visio Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Accountabilities: Serve as a liaison between the business, Epic/ Care Systems, and Web & Mobile team members when exploring business problems and solutions. Elicit, understand, and evaluate business problems, requirements, and consumer pain-points by: Conducting stakeholder interviews, document analysis, data analysis, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task, and workflow analysis. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, Abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Create and maintain requirements artifacts in accordance with change management guidelines including project vision/scope documents, functional specification, use cases, concept mock-ups, wireframes, and process diagram flowcharts. Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry. Perform User Acceptance Testing as needed. Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner. Facilitate documentation review sessions. Communicate requirement changes and facilitate re-prioritization with Epic/ Care Systems, and Web & Mobile team members. Manage multiple projects or a single large project of substantial complexity which may include subcomponents of larger scale projects. Complete approved requirements documentation within approved scope, schedule, and budget. Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
