Title: Business Analyst Location: Richmond, VA (Remote) Duration: 6 Months Contract Interview Process : Web Cam Interview Only Skills Matrix Skills Years Used Last Used 5 Years - Proven working experience as a business systems analyst for medium to large project 5 Years - Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams and other technical staff, business partners and vendors. 5 Years - Able to accurately define and capture project requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. 5 Years - Able to write UAT test scripts from use cases and proficient in UAT testing 5 Years - Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks 5 years - Able to track requirements throughout lifecycle of SDLC cycle 5 Years - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, ADO, JIRA and Confluence Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problem ITEMS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF SUBMITTAL Candidates will be expected to follow ELECT time off blackout periods surrounding the Virginia Election Schedule. 2 Weeks for the Primary (Generally the last two weeks of June). And 3 weeks for the General (Generally the last two weeks of October and first week of November) While this is primarily a remote position, candidates must be available to come to the Richmond, VA office for onboarding. They may also be asked to come to the office during emergencies and high-volume periods, such as elections. Our client is looking for an experienced Business analyst to assist the Software Project Management team. Knowledge and Skills: Be proficient in Agile practices of story writing and requirements gathering. Able to deliver written project deliverables and communicate to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
