| From: Akash Sharma, Tek Inspirations [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Senior Application Programmers Testing Duration:6+months Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Remote) MOI: Skype Responsibilities: Serve as senior members of the LaMEDS Testing Team Write complex SQL queries and data fixes to suppress records, change AsOfDate, update and insert records Create test cases and test strategies for defects and enhancements Triage and test defects and enhancements Provide mitigation plans (Business Impact and Workarounds) File and Database Validation (Interfaces, MES and etc.) Document infrastructure tasks in JIRA for flags and etc. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team on stubbing Coordinate with SIT and Offshore developers on logic Individually meet and work with LDH management, program staff and test teams to determine enhancement and defect testing needs Provide mentoring, technical assistance and knowledge transfer to junior LaMEDS programmers. Serve as liaison between programmers, LaMEDS team leads and Contractor Review the work of junior programmers for assigned LaMEDS modules to ensure data integrity and availability Weekend work may be required Other tasks as determined by the IT Statewide Director Core Skills: SQL, JIRA, SDLC, Agile, SOAPUI, Testing, Testing Tools, Test Cases, Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas: 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and working on testing teams. 4+ years of experience working with JIRA. 4+ years of experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases. 4+ years of experience working in an Agile environment. 4+ years of experience with SOAPUI. 4+ years of experience with Automated Testing tools.
