This is a long-term opportunity. The opportunity requires the candidate to be able to work in a REMOTE fashion during Normal East Coast Business Hours. The candidate applying must be living closer to Clifton Forge, VA area within a 50-60 Mile Radius (Washington, DC, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia Area) The client will be migrating all existing PL/SQL Web toolkit applications or pages to Oracle APEX. Must have 4+ Years of Experience with Oracle APEX 5+ Years of Experience with Oracle 19c database 5+ Years of Strong SQL and PL/SQL experience 4+ Years of Experience with JavaScript or jQuery 4+ Years of Experience with HTML. 1+ Years of Experience with Oracle PL/SQL web toolkit. Strong background and work experience in developing true web applications are necessary. Professional experience working with Web-based applications using Oracle as the backend is required. Job Responsibilities Works as part of the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Information Management (OIM) team and plan, coordinate, develop, and implement the assignments/tasks. Developing Required Interfaces or making changes to the existing interfaces. Convert the existing PLSQL Web toolkit application into APEX. Working closely with other developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Creating and maintaining documentation for the application, including technical specifications, user guides, and development notes Thoroughly testing the application to identify and fix issues. Preferred Experience as an Oracle APEX Developer, or in a similar environment is a BIG PLUS. Experience working with State/Local Government is a BIG PLUS.
