Position - QA- Real Time Payment- FedNow Location San Antonio, TX or Remote Exp. + yrs Contract Ro les & Responsibilities 6 - 8 yrs of exp with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, with a focus on testing payment systems, preferably in the real-time payments domain. Strong understanding of RTP protocols, payment processing, and associated standards (e.g., ISO 20022, NACHA). Proficient in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile environment. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of RTP and FedNow payment systems. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of real-time payment applications. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools, ensuring proper communication and follow-up on problem resolution. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide input on system design and functionality to ensure optimal test coverage. Participate in test plan reviews, requirements analysis, and system design sessions. Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas for automation, implementing test automation frameworks, and developing automated test scripts. Conduct root cause analysis and provide feedback on system enhancements to improve the overall quality of the payment systems. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in real-time payment systems and contribute to the evolution of QA methodologies and practices.
