From: Ammy, RLI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] The Senior UX Researcher will plan and conduct generative and evaluative user research studies. The UX Researcher will be instrumental in helping the design and product teams inform and test digital experiences for Quests customers and employees. The researcher will have high-level understanding of different research methodologies and techniques and a proven track record of translating research insights into actionable recommendations. Collaborate with designers, product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand and define key questions and propose appropriate research methods to gain needed insights Plan, lead, and conduct research efforts across the product lifecycle from discovery to validation (e.g., usability testing, one-on-one interviews, heuristic evaluations, competitor assessments, co-design activities, contextual inquiries, ethnographic research, surveys, card sorting, etc.) Evangelize and help grow how research is viewed within Quest Develop and create comprehensive research plans based on business partner needs Coordinate research logistics (e.g., recruiting, moderation, data collection, data analysis, and reporting/read-outs) Identify and define intended user types and build a deep understanding of current and ideal experience Synthesize data and communicate insights and design criteria to clients, partners, and executives Partner with UX designers to organize stakeholder alignment activities during early project phases Collaborate with market research, customer experience, and analytics partners on best research approaches Build and present persuasive artifacts that communicate everything from the research approach to findings and insights Participate in ideation, design, and evaluation of existing and future user experiences of Quests portfolio of products, platforms, and services Participate and facilitate design thinking workshops to help product teams reimagine the problem and generate innovative solutions. Required Work Experience: Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in the field of design research and usability Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience conducting in-depth interviews, usability studies and design workshops Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience leading small to medium sized projects Preferred Work Experience: Experience working in healthcare, pharmaceutical, bio-tech, or related fields Minimum 2 years working in an Enterprise environment Physical and Mental Requirements: Comfortable working remotely Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a mature ability to prioritize and manage time Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization Knowledge: Proven knowledge of research methods Knowledge of product design and development process Experience working with user testing tools (I.e., usertesting.com, userzoom, Optimal Workshop, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Anthropology, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or Industrial or Graphic Design. Masters degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Industrial Design. Proficiency with remote research tools such as dScout, UserTesting, and UserZoom.
