In this role, the UI / UX Designer will be responsible for designing the creation of new applications and updates to existing ones that manage the company's content supply chain workflows. Responsibilities: The UI / UX Designer will be responsible for: Creation of a new administration console and information dashboard web application managing the client's global media file transcoding and distribution Creating a seamless, consistent, intuitive, reliable, and highly usable user experience that fulfills the business needs of Content Platform users Conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into storyboards, process flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes Translating designs to higher fidelity design deliverables such as imagery, icons, style guide, and typography Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a UX / UI Designer role Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related discipline or equivalent experience Proficiency in standard UX software, such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, etc. Experience working with product managers, business stakeholders, and business analysts to understand detailed requirements Solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability and accessibility concerns Solid problem solving and time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Experience creating higher fidelity design deliverables, such as icons, style guide, typography, and imagery Experience in higher fidelity design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator Experience creating designs within applications development teams creating line of business applications Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and how it may inform app design Keywords: user interface user experience information technology Missouri |
