Role: Business Analyst Location: Remote Job Description: The scope of the proposed services will include the following: Elicits, analyzes and documents customer business needs and requirements in order to produce an accurate business case for the project. Identify approaches to addressing legacy processes in new, modernized application development environments. Collaborates with the Product Owner, agile team and relevant subject matter experts to define high quality user stories with detailed acceptance criteria. This includes functional and non-functional requirements Performs and/or facilitates business and technical analysis in support of project design and implementation. Works with customer, quality assurance and User Acceptance Testing Lead to identify needed test data and develop test cases that ensure expected functionality and features are validated before and during User Acceptance Testing. Perform GAP analysis to determine if business requirements are being met Performs special tasks as assigned. This includes such tasks as assisting with preparation of highly complex specialized reports, serving on data conversion and Quality Assurance teams, assisting with timelines, status reports, and documenting current processes. Build out and support the management and prioritization of the product backlog. Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies. Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: Three (3) years of experience with business analytics processes with at least 1 year in an agile environment Project experience facilitating project related meetings with business partners Writing skills with experience creating requirements and design documents VISIO or similar diagraming tool.
