Title: Senior Mainframe Tester - UI and Mainframe Testing Location : Minneapolis ,NJ,TX;MINNESOTA,ST LOUIS,AUSTIN,TAMPA,NEW JERSEY (Onsite) Duration : 6 months VISA- GC Holder,CITIZEN RATE- $40/h on c2c C2C, 30/h on W2 Job Description: EXP - 8-10 YRS EXP We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mainframe Tester with expertise in both UI and Mainframe Testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in test automation, and the ability to interact directly with business stakeholders. This position will be based in New Jersey, Minnesota, St. Louis, Tampa, Austin, or Minneapolis, depending on candidate preference. The successful candidate will be self-driven, possess strong analytical skills, and have 8-10 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive testing of mainframe applications, including UI and backend processes, to ensure their reliability, functionality, and performance. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mainframe applications, adhering to industry best practices and standards. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other team members to understand business requirements and functional specifications. Identify, document, and track defects through various testing phases, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Implement and maintain test automation frameworks for mainframe applications to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy. Participate in test environment setup and maintenance activities to ensure testing environments are stable and representative of production environments. Provide clear and concise test status reports to project stakeholders, highlighting test progress, results, and any potential risks or issues. Mentor and guide junior testers in the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Testing, including UI testing. Proficient in test automation tools and frameworks related to mainframe applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex issues. Proven experience in direct interaction with business stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations. Self-driven and able to work independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively convey testing results and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel occasionally, if required. Previous experience in financial or healthcare domains is a plus.
