They may also be asked to come to the office during emergencies and high-volume periods, such as elections Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is looking for an experienced Business analyst to assist our Software Project Management team. Candidate must be proficient in Agile practices of story writing and requirements gathering. Able to deliver written project deliverables and communicate to stakeholders at all levels. Working experience utilizing the following soft skills: Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Proven working experience as a business systems analyst for medium to large project Required 5 Years Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams and other technical staff, business partners and vendors. Required 5 Years Able to accurately define and capture project requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. Required 5 Years Able to write UAT test scripts from use cases and proficient in UAT testing Required 5 Years Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks Required 5 Years Able to track requirements throughout lifecycle of SDLC cycle Required 5 Years Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, ADO, JIRA and Confluence Required 5 Years Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
