Position: Process Engineer Location: Summit,NJ (Hybrid) Duration : 12+ months with extension Role Description: Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or computer science or engineering. Advanced business process analysis knowledge. Strong problem solving with leadership capabilities and business acumen. 4-7 years of operations work experience required, preferably in Supply Chain operations of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, or other GXP manufacturing environments Proven record in leading or contributing to projects or programs in support of GxP operations. Proven ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and unexpected events while maintaining a positive work attitude. This position requires a self-starter, who can hit the ground running with minimal guidance/direction, and an excellent communicator, who can initiate conversation and solicit participation. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Skilled at presenting complex topics to senior leaders. Experience in start-up or greenfield projects will be a plus Interpersonal and facilitation skills are necessary to interface with and influence all levels of the organization. Familiarity with Six Sigma practices. Familiarity with process mapping software such as Visio or Mural will be a plus Experience with developing metrics and dashboards. Technical Skill: Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending to develop appropriate process changes. Develop gap analysis with business owners and identify process & system improvement opportunities and initiatives. Work independently to own the creation and management of network process maps. Partner with business delivery teams and system implementation teams in designing ERP systems functionality to best support business requirements / process needs Collaborates with subject matter experts from across the business to design, establish and maintain foundational data pipelines. Works with other functions to develop business facing reports and dashboards. Create impact assessments and analyze the ROI for system enhancements. Identify training gaps and create training opportunities when needed. Adhere to practices that improve operational efficiency via expanded communications with key process constituencies including IT, Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain. Act as a community expert for procurement, warehousing & inventory management, as well as overall supply chain processes and their execution in systems.
