Type : Contract Must Have: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management. Hands on experience in handling Android branching, Module versioning and release management process. Ability to meet deadlines while overseeing multiple short-term projects - individual. Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated knowledge of Unix/Linux environments. Job Responsibilities: Work with the Release Manager to oversee and ensure timely delivery of software releases. Work closely with engineering to create builds triggered by late change requests. Support build and release processes by creating builds for production and for cross-functional teams to test. Experience acting as a focal point for communication with offshore teams. Identify and drive resolution of release blocking issues. Monitor build/presubmit/postsubmit status. Do first-hand analysis and triaging when problems occur.
