DevOps Architect Cranbury, NJ, Hybrid 3 days Contract Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end DevOps solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, focusing on automation and continuous integration and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect solutions, and provide technical guidance. Implement platform engineering principles to optimize the Azure cloud landscape, including resource provisioning, monitoring, and management. Define and enforce best practices for source code management, version control, and release management using Git and related tools. Implement and integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing in line with DevSecOps principles. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the overall DevOps architecture. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps team members. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to DevOps and cloud computing. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Architect, 8-12 yrs experience Strong expertise in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Extensive hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform, including resource management, networking, and security In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps principles, security guardrails and experience implementing in CI/CD pipeline Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash/PowerShell. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms (Azure), or related areas. Previous experience working in the insurance industry.
