Job Role: Bid Solution Architect Public Safety Solutions Duration: Long Term Contract Location: Remote Public Safety Solutions Our automated photo enforcement, advanced analytics, and violations processing solutions help make communities safer, while optimizing transportation operations and helping cities maintain sustainable funding. Public safety is a top priority in every community. To support a citys Vision Zero goals, the city needs integrated digital tools that can scale up or down as requirements evolve. Conduents automated public safety software and services help agencies collaborate with stakeholders and gain data-driven insights to curb bad driving behavior, manage traffic congestion, reduce fatalities and injuries. Job Description: Bid Solution Architect Public Safety Solutions As a Bid Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading cross functional teams to develop and submit proposals in response to internal sales requests and g overnment Requests for Proposals (RFPs). You will work with both technical and sales teams to shape and respond to RFPs . You'll also partner with the business leaders, internal innovation teams, IT functional areas, and external 3rd party partners to ensure solutions align with the business and IT strategy. The key responsibilities include: Own the bid technical response in coordination with management, technical team, and sales. Coordinate with sales, capture personnel, practice leaders and technical team to gather required proposal content, including writing and reviewing technical content. Responsible for preparation of solution concepts, cost estimates, pricing, and technical proposal write-ups consistent with associated win strategy and themes. Take ownership in the development of pre-sell materials, proposals, presentations, and product demos. Ensures that the various aspects of the technical proposals (win themes, technical scope, staff qualifications and experience) and other marketing materials are accurate, timely, and well written. Write proposal technical sections, white papers, and technical specification sheets, etc. Lead and analyze RFI, RFQ, RFPs and other bid documents for requirements, identify the solution gaps between product offering and the requests, and work with the product team on the roadmap for future development. Assist in building the proposal compliance matrix and track the fulfillment of all requirements for the proposal of engineering development items. Upon award, complete a full knowledge transfer of the requirements to the implementation teams. Minimum Qualifications and Education: Bachelor's degree in a related technical major (or comparable work experience) Experience and understanding of large-scale distributed computing systems in enterprise-wide and/or environments required. Minimum 4 years experience in Information Technology industry. Strong working knowledge or work experience with software design and programming experience. Minimum 3 years experience leading or writing technical proposals. Working knowledge of Java, and/or .NET development environment. Working knowledge in DevOps and cloud environments. High proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Strong analytical ability. Ability to establish effective, professional working relationships with clients and co-workers. Ability to work alone as an independent contributor. Preferred Qualifications: Experienced in MS Azure or Tanzu environments. Worked in transportation industry. Experience working on Government contracts. Working experience with software design and programming experience.
