| From: vivek kumar, vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Azure Cloud DevOps Architect Location: downtown Detroit, Michigan Hybrid (onsite 3 days/week, 2 days remote)) Moi: Skype Summary: * First order of business will be to do a DevOps assessment: Get an understanding of what the company/team planning to do and where at today in the companys DevOps journey; provide an assessment/expert opinion on Company direction and in general what else Company can do to get their faster * Work on an agile team with developers from internal business units to deliver business value and outcomes. Develop, test, and implement development and infrastructure code to assist the team in achieving their goals. Work will be done from start to finish by a cross-functional team using an agile methodology, and employing the assistance of a scrum master, product owner, and agile coach. Each member of the team brings unique technical skills and strives to cross-train to gain additional technical knowledge across multiple disciplines in a dynamic work environment. Additional Functions / Duties / Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and support Cloud Infrastructure, as code artifacts or modules Design, build, and maintain Cloud infrastructure and applications Support and deliver using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Design and support resiliency and scalability using the Azure cloud platform Enable systems with automated monitoring and alerting Support the Team and Customers with day-to-day requests, Changes,s, and Incident tickets Support Technology stack refresh on Systems (end-to-end) when required Ensure automated security is built into each technology stack Qualifications / Experience: 10 or more years of experience including 4-5 years of experience in supporting enterprise-level platform installations 7 years of experience working with a cloud provider (Azure) 4-5 years of experience with containerized cloud solutions utilizing Docker, and Kubernetes on Azure with HELM charts Strong knowledge and experience of managing Kafka infrastructure, administration, and configuration (Confluent) Experience in working with and managing distributed messaging systems, like multiple Kafka clusters Microsoft Azure cloud management & administration including environment provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security that is global in scale Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure Experience working within an Agile framework IaaS development with Terraform, Azure CLI, and Ansible Scripting experience with Perl, Python, and PowerShell Proficient with ADO/GIT to perform source code management 4-year Computer Science Degree or related technical / engineering degree Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment |
