| Hi Contract Role: Release Lead/Manager Location: San Jose, CA(Onsite) Must Have: Android branching Module versioning workflows adhoc requests. process changes Unix/Linux environments. Job Responsibilities: Experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management. Hands on experience in handling Android branching, Module versioning and release management process. (Important skill - Highlight clearly in resume) Experience in documenting workflows, process changes and adhoc requests. Ability to meet deadlines while overseeing multiple short-term projects - individual. Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated knowledge of Unix/Linux environments. Work with the Release Manager to oversee and ensure timely delivery of software releases. Work closely with engineering to create builds triggered by late change requests. Support build and release processes by creating builds for production and for cross-functional teams to test. Experience acting as a focal point for communication with offshore teams. Identify and drive resolution of release blocking issues. Monitor build/presubmit/postsubmit status. Do first-hand analysis and triaging when problems occur.
