I am reaching out to you on an exciting job opportunity with one of our clients Role : Site Reliability Engineer Location : Remote The Conference Systems team works with many systems, applications, and hardware. The primary functions of the team are supporting and improving the conferencing experience for all clients, associates, and contractors that participate in a video conference call with the Firm. This team provides technology solutions, development, and support for the audio-visual systems throughout the Firm. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and has excellent skills when working with data. If you have the proven ability to think critically and deliver solutions this may be the role for you! What You'll Do Provide a solution to log and aggregate unstructured data from thousands of devices located in conference rooms and develop actionable insights. Review industry documentation, implement software changes for security vulnerabilities, and work with vendors when trouble shooting or investigating bug/bug fixes. Partner with other teams to work through issues that are caused by implementation in a large enterprise. Provide documentation on solutions you develop. What projects you will have an immediate impact on Improve the conferencing experience for our financial advisors, clients, associates, and partners who use conferencing technology to communicate, by enabling our team to be proactive and resolve issues before they are reported. Using data to maximize the effect of the Firm's investment in the conferencing experience. What you will need (Qualifications) Proven experience working with unstructured data and turning it into actionable items. Experience with data tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Cribl, Vector, Datadog, Prometheus Experience with programming in Python Ability to extract and synthesize data from a variety of devices and sources (logs, SNMP, APIs, databases, etc.) Proven experience with developing process automation Ability to work across silos in an enterprise environment. Working across teams and departments to deliver solutions. Ability to make decisions with limited guidance and direction. 5+ years of experience with some combination of the above. What could set you apart Knowledge of audiovisual technology vendors and devices. Background in retrieving data from a variety of physical endpoints using a wide range of methods, including developing solutions when an endpoint does not have a straightforward way to supply the data.
