From: TEJASHWINI, ATLANTIS IT GROUP [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Senior Kafka Solution Architect Location: Fully Remote Longterm Contract Client: Discount Tire General Description: Integration Architect is responsible for designing and governing product-agnostic integrations between various internal/external systems and SaaS offerings in order to realize Discount Tires strategic IT vision. This role is responsible for promoting architectural design patterns and facilitating solutions that leverage enterprise integration standards to deliver cost-effective, high-performing, and efficient integrations among systems using Kafka integration methods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver integration architectures that are aligned with IT strategies and principles. Assist in architecting technical solutions for enterprise systems using the Kafka product suite to drive the value equation and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment Create and maintain integration domain diagrams, architecture frameworks, design patterns, and design standards that support technology strategy. Lead and drive efforts to develop a reference architecture for integrations, including proactively guiding associated technology life cycles and roadmaps. Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT program managers to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements Work closely with other enterprise architects, enterprise security, engineers, networking and infrastructure teams to develop integration architecture suitable for implementing common services, business rules, data transformation, and data movement across systems. Maintain relationship with Integration Engineering Manager, product management, business systems analysts, and principal developers in order to collectively implement new and difficult challenges and to gain support from stakeholders for the technology direction. Provide analysis and tradeoffs between strategic and tactical initiatives and champion API lead connectivity, microservices implementation, data loads and potential reuse opportunities within integration domain. Support and guide integration architecture governance team and practices in accordance with business and IT strategies. Ensure that the integration domains architecture contributes to the company strategy and financial well-being and provides cost-effective solutions. Perform necessary planning to ensure environments and solutions are scalable for anticipated growth and availability. Help set standards and performance metrics for the architectural domain and report on them regularly. Ensure design documentation standards, coding standards, and performance SLAs are met through better design and constant review of integration artifacts. Develop and execute communication and education plans for architecture within and across the integration and engineering domains. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the integration architecture and its crucial role in the broader enterprise architecture. Assist on technical POC's to prove out technology and ultimately leading into selection. Mentor and work with domain-related architects, developers, and testers throughout full SDLC. Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, best practices and strategies. Assists customers by answering questions related to Integration Architect processes, procedures and services.
